by NazwaWith deep sadness , Jama ' at Ahmadiyya Muslim yesterday confirmed that on February 6, 2011, three members of the Ahmadiyya community in Indonesia to die a martyr in an attack which is so barbaric and very brutal .
The attack happened in Cikeusik , south of Indonesia 's Banten and conducted by a group of people numbering between 700 to 1 . 000 . The attack came even though police had been warned several days in advance about the attacks will happen to members of the local Ahmadiyya community. Despite previous warnings , the police failed to take action or steps to prevent attacks .
It is reported that the attackers came to the location of the local Ahmadiyya community with brandishing machetes , spears , knives and other weapons . As a result of 3 people disyahidkan publicly Ahmadi Muslims and 5 others were seriously injured. Two cars , a house and a motorcycle owned by Ahmadi Muslims also burned .
So far no one has been arrested by police in connection with this incident .Speaking from London in response to this brutal murder , Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad , Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat said: "These horrific attacks , have caused grief and pain for the Ahmadi Muslims around the world and also to all peace -loving people .
Barbarism of the perpetrators did not recognize boundaries ; those who only watch the merciless beatings as he clapped and cheered . local police and the authorities failed to protect members of Ahmadiyah which eventually resulted in their cruel and brutal attack.Every time an attack like this, the Church of Ahmadiyahm Muslims both in Indonesia and around the world has always shown patience and do not look for solutions with revenge or violence , but through prayer to the Almighty God and this will still always be like this .
Nevertheless we can be sure those who have caused this atrocity will be responsible to the Almighty God and will face punishment .
Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat urges the Government of Indonesia to meet its mandate to protect all citizens , regardless of his religion . It is also to clarify that no Ahmadi Muslims are involved in all forms of provocation whatsoever and that the attack was motivated solely because the victim is a member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat . This is a tragedy , that the Ahmadi Muslims were martyred in the most barbaric ways just because they choose to live their lives with the Ahmadiyya motto ' Love for All, Hatred for None.
